All KU residents/fellows are required to have medical professional liability insurance that shows limits of 1 million/3 million to participate in the KLT program. Rural Health Education and Services offers sponsorships to help cover medical professional liability insurance. Insurance can be purchased through KaMMCO.

Rural Health Education and Services (RHES) offers sponsorships to help KLT residents/fellows cover medical professional liability insurance (up to a $1,400 value). *Sponsorships are available on a limited basis each year.
In order to receive Medical Professional Liability Insurance Sponsorship residents/fellows must first be an approved KLT provider and then must:
